The White Future of the West

The Trump administration demands "remigration", thus adopts the terminology of the extreme right and demands that the US embassies in Europe force the governments there to imitate their racist deportation policy.

The assassin from the murder squad

The US demands follow the assassination last Wednesday in Washington, in which a soldier and a soldier of the National Guard were shot. The soldier has succumbed to her injuries; the soldier is still fighting for his life. US media have revealed the background of the alleged assassin, a 29-year-old refugee from Afghanistan. The man had been recruited by the CIA in Afghanistan around 2011 at the young age of about 16 and had served in Kandahar in the "Zero Units", which formally belonged to the Afghan secret service, but in reality were trained, equipped and controlled by the CIA. 1] A study by Human Rights Watch shows that the Zero Units were regularly used in nocturnal raids on Afghan localities, where residents were regularly abducted and murdered as part of the so-called anti-terror war.[ 2] According to reports, the assassin suffered from serious trauma caused by the murders of his unit under CIA command.[ 3] Because the US-led murder units are considered to be particularly endangered by the Taliban, their relatives usually received refuge in the USA; so did the assassin, who last kept himself and his family afloat with a poorly paid job as a delivery driver.

"Remigration now!"

The Trump administration is now using the assassination attempt to further tighten its deportation policy. "Only reverse migration" - "reverse migration" or "Remigration" - "can completely remedy this situation," US President Donald Trump explained on Truth Social and announced that the first step would stop all immigration "from all third world countries". 4] The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which had already publicly used the term "remigrating" in October [5], demanded on Friday: "Remigration now" [6]. Shortly before the assassination, the ministry had already ordered a review of all refugees who had received refuge in the United States during the term of US President Joe Biden. It is now intended to intensify the measure. Hundreds of thousands are affected, including apparently people who have legally valid residence documents. The DHS has also announced that it will no longer process entry requests from Afghans with immediate effect and that it will impose special restrictions on all migrants from 19 countries that are considered "high-risk states". The measures are in addition to the steps already implemented, including the abduction of countless migrants by the US authority ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).[ 7]

Deported from the cityscape

Even before the assassination attempt, the Trump administration had initiated measures to force the states of Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to imitate their deportation policy. In the countries that the Trump administration stands out as a "Western civilization" from the rest of the world, draconian deportation measures and an increasingly racially influenced migration policy have long been widespread. Australia, for example, which has been deporting refugees to camps on remote Pacific islands for many years, launched a new deportation program at the end of October, which provides for the forced removal of migrants to Nauru. 8] Germany is also expanding its deportations; Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt attaches importance to the statement that in the first ten months of 2025, an average of 65 migrants per day were deported - almost a fifth more than in the same period last year.[ 9] Deportations to Afghanistan have long been taking place. Those to Syria should follow shortly. Chancellor Friedrich Merz is personally involved in the agitation against non-white migrants. In mid-October, he had said that his government was currently planning deportations "on a very large scale"; the reason for this was that "there is still this problem in the cityscape". 10] The justification is directed against people whose skin stands out in "white" Germany.

The "Western civilization"

All this is not enough for the Trump administration. The U.S. State Department, in a letter reportedly on the 21st. November, its embassies in the countries mentioned - Germany - are asked to report regularly on the migration policy of their hosts. It should be reported to Washington, not least if the respective governments "reassuly favor migrants at the expense of the local population". 11] On the other hand, the US embassy staff must intervene in the future with the governments of the hosts in order to enforce a "reform policy" in terms of "migrant crimes" and migrant "human rights violations". This is necessary to avert "an existential threat to Western civilization and the security of the West and the world," explains a senior US State Department employee. 12] US Vice President JD Vance had already declared in February that "Western civilization could not be revived" if "America or Europe" allowed millions of "illegal migrants" to enter: "This must stop."[ 13] The Trump administration has made it clear several times who is allowed to enter the USA and can even receive refugee status there: white South Africans, often from racist milieus.

A homogeneous block

With its demand for "remigration", the Trump administration is taking on a plan that has been gaining popularity in the extreme right in Europe for years and is now also supported by the AfD. For example, the AfD's program for the Bundestag election in February stated: "Our catalogue of measures to reverse [the] state failure of migration policy is called remigration". 14] The chairman of the AfD youth organization Generation Deutschland, which was newly founded at the weekend, Jean-Pascal Hohm, recently reiterated that he is in favor of "millions of deportations". 15] "Millions of Remigration" was also called for at the founding meeting of Generation Germany. With the US decision to force the states of Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to imitate their racist deportation policy, the US government seeks to determine the entire transatlantic world on the AfD course. This corresponds to the persistent support of the extreme right in the USA for the extreme right in Europe (german-foreign-policy.com reported [16]). The US strategy ultimately boils down to forging the entire transatlantic world into a relatively homogeneous white block ("Western civilization") according to racist criteria, which can develop the supposedly greatest possible impact in the global struggles for world power that are still at the beginning.

Dependent, so blackmailable

Chancellor Friedrich Merz declared at the end of last week that he did not want to submit to the US dictate. "The migration policy is our business," explained Merz: "We decide whether we think it is right."[ 17] The Chancellor continued: "We don't need any admonitions from outside." However, it has been shown several times in recent months that the dependence of German industry on its US business Berlin, which is irreplaceable in the current crisis, leaves little room for political independence (german-foreign-policy.com reported [18]). Berlin has already set course towards mass deportations.
